Price Collection Solution

The Price Collection Solution™ (PCS) epitomizes Swiss Financial Services’ dedication to personalized service and maximum efficiency and thoroughness. The PCS is an innovative way to achieve accurate independent pricing of Hedge fund of funds portfolios and calculate their Net Asset Values (NAVs) in a timely fashion.

In order to meet deadlines for calculating the NAV, fund of funds administrators often must rely on estimated rates of returns. The independent fund administrator’s job is complicated farther if a custodian is the investor of record at the underlying fund, not the fund of funds. This creates a triangular relationship between fund of funds manager, custodian, and fund administrator. The lack of reporting standards adds to the complexity of managing and utilizing the best available prices for the valuation process.

The Price Collection Solution™ enables Swiss Financial Services to service fund of funds and satisfy the needs of investors while following sound accounting principles. The PCS consists of:

  • A dedicated, specialized team for independent price collection located in Zurich, Switzerland

  • A system designed and developed in-house to support the price collection process that enables us to collect more than 3,000 prices per month

  • Fully automated checks and balances for quality assurance

Our focused approach enables us to efficiently prepare the NAV of the fund of funds within days after the month’s end based on the best available prices. We invite you to call us for more information about how we can provide credible and accurate services to you as well.
